Top 5 Christmas Movies

Hi Everyone

Christmas is just round the corner, so I thought I would share my 5 top Christmas movies.

Collage made by me. Pictures are from Pinterest

The Polar Express
This movie is a cute movie for children, and adults too. It's about a boy who starts to not believe in Santa. One night a steam train pulls in front of his house to take him to the North Pole to help him believe again.
The illustrations in this movie are so life like. The story is so different and a really good idea for a book and movie. Tom Hanks voices almost every character (he is so talented). I would recommend this movie to everyone.

Home Alone
This movie is definitely a classic to watch. It is about a family who forgets one of their many children at home when they got to Paris for Christmas. Kevin loves having the place to himself. He can do what he wants when he wants without his parent telling him off. One night a couple of robbers try to break in knowing that the family are away and it is up to Kevin to stop them.
This is a cute movie. The story is so thought out and told well. I would recommend this movie to everyone. This movie is made for children 5 and up because the robbers are kind of scary and the big spider is freaky as well.

Natiional Lampoons Christmas Vacation
This movie is one of the best Christmas comedy movie ever made. It's about a family who's father tries to make the best Christmas ever. The movie starts of by the Griswold's trying to find their Christmas tree, which when they get it home it is too big for their living room. Then Clark (the father) decorates the whole outside of their house with twinkle lights.
I think this movie is recommended for children ages 8 and up because their is some bad language and content that wouldn't be suitable for younger children.

The Santa Clause
I think this is the best Christmas movie ever made. The story of the movie is the best and different to any other Christmas movie. The movie starts out with a divorced father who tries to have a perfect Christmas Eve with his son, but hie burns the turkey so they go to Denny's for dinner. Then on the same night Santa falls off the roof which means the dad (played by Tim Allen) becomes the new Santa.
I would recommend this movie for child all ages. It is just a feel good Christmas movie.

A Christmas Carol
This movie is based on the book by Charles Dickens. It is about a miserable old man named Scrooge who doesn't believe in the Christmas spirit. One night he is visited by the ghost of his old business Jacob Marley, who tells hi. That he will be visited by three ghost to help him see what his Christmas past, present and future look/looked like.
There are, many versions this movie, but this 1951 version is the best. It is good for children ages 6 and up because of what it is about and it is a little scary at the end with the third ghost. I find the Disney version really scary as well.

That's it for now I hope to talk to you really soon
