My Travel Makeup Bag

Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoy summer so far. Evey summer I travel to England to visit my family every year. I thought I would share with you the make up that I brought with be and some that I have bought in England this year.

First I though I would start with the bag that I use. It the Zoella makeup bag, the one of her eyes. I absolutely love it. It can hold so much stuff in it which is really convenient. For me I take whatever I can fit into the bag and leave the rest at home.

I love the Wake Me Up foundations by Rimmel. They give me great coverage. The foundation is great at covering up blemishes and evening out skin tones. Because I have really fair skin the shade I use is the lightest colour which is ivory.

For powders I brought by Rimmel Stay Matte in 003 natural. This helps keep my foundation in place and also helps me stay shine free on hot days. The bronze that I use is Rimmel natural bronze in 020 sunshine. It is a subtle bronzer that is easy to build up. There is shimmer in it which gives me a little glow. I recently brought myself a highlighter because I didn't have one. I got the Undress Your Skin Shimmer Hightlighter by MUA. It is a lightweight highlighter that luminates my cheekbones.

I got this concealer a few days ago because I have heard good reviews about it. I got it in fair which is the lightest shade. I like the consistency so it can hide any imperfections. It does last a long time to hide blemishes. Also you don't need a lot of the product, a little bit goes a long way.

The two big eyeshadow palettes I brought are from Sleek. They are the storm palette which has natural colours and the vintage palette which has purples and pinks. The small Covergirl eyeshadow is called Swiss chocolate. It's a nice deep brown shade with a little glitter. The small Rimmel palette is in the shade brick lane. It is my most go to eyeshadow when I'm in a rush to get somewhere.

I love the Maybelline colour tattoos. They are convenient for days where you don't want a lot of makeup on but you want to add a little colour. While I have been in England I got the colour On and On  Bronze and Pink Gold. I will do a review of them in a future blog post.

I bought three mascaras. I like them all in different ways. The Maybelline  lash sensational really separates my lashes and makes them seem longer. The falsies makes my lashes thicker. The Wonderlash mascara makes my lashes softer. The Maybelline ones are in brownish black and the Rimmel Wonderlash is in black.

The eye liner that I bring are the Covergirl Ink it in charcole, and Maybelline Master Precise in black. I use the Covergirl eyeline for times when I don't want a harsh line. It also blends out nicely. I use the Maybelline one if I want a sharp line for a more dramatic look. The Covergirl liner is a twist liner so you don't have to sharpen the pencil like other eyeliner pencils.

I brought two different types of blushes with me. I have the Covergirl Cheekers blush in Classic pink. It is a applies and blends out nicely for a rosey cheek. The other blush is the Rimmel Stay Blushed in 001 pop of pink. This blush is a liquid blush that you can build up the colour or have it very subtle.

One of my favourite lip product are these Covergirl jumbo gloss balms. They are creamy and leave your  lips feeling moist. The don't feel heavy on the lips as well. They are really convenient for people who don't have a lot of time on their makeup but still want something on their lips. I definitely recommend these to everyone.

I am absolutely loving Rimmel lipsticks.  I have brought three with me in my travel bag. They are the Rimmel lasting finish lipsticks in the shades 08, 107 and 32 (left to right on the picture above). The are moisturizing on the lip and feel light weight. The 107 lipstick (middle one) is a matte finish which took my a while to get use to. 32 (the one on the right) is a peachy orange tone which doesn't really suit me, it depends one how I do my makeup. Shade 08 is my favourite shade. I find it works with any makeup I use and what look I go for. 08 is my always go to lipstick. And they do last a long time without wearing off like some lipsticks do.

I have never been a lipgloss person until I bought this lip gloss. It is the Tanya Burr lipgloss in shade Aurora. Firstly it smells amazing. It is a light weight gloss. The colour is really nice and bright. I find that they product stays in the lips for a long time. I would recommend this for people who don't really like lip glosses but would like a little shine to the lips.

That's it for not. Leave a comment telling me what some of your favourite makeup products for travelling are. And I will talk to you later in my next post!!!
