Oliver Remake!!!!

Recently I read in the Daily Mail that Cameron Mackentosh is remaking the musical Oliver! for the big screen. I thought I would tell you my thought on who should play what parts. By the way Oliver! is my favourite musical ever so I was really excited and can't wait until it hits theatres. 

Firstly I know they are searching for people to play oliver and the Artful Dodger. I don't know who should play Oliver but the Artful Dodger should be played by Daniel Huttlestone who we all know as Gavroche in the movie Les Miserables and Jack in into the woods. 

For Fagin, that's a hard one. I think Sacha Baron Cohen would be brilliant for the part. Or the best person for the job would be Russ Abbot who I have seen twice playing Fagin, once in Toronto and once in London. 

In the article there was speculation about Samantha Barks playing Nancy. Which I find is a perfect match because she was in the show I'd Do Anything when they tried to find a Nancy. I don't have any ideas on anyone who will play Bill Sykes yet. It will probably be hard for the casting crew to find anyone like Oliver Reed because he portrayed the part so well. 

I hope they film the movie the same what they did Les Miserable. As the cast were filming their scene, they were singing at the same time, which normally they play the recording overtop and the actors lip sync. It would also be nice to have Tom Hooper as director, because he did so well directing Les Miserables.

Anyway those are my thoughts. It will be interesting to see what happens.
